Fungido gets a joshing sarcastic nick name from his Sicilian grand mother. Ever with a rebellious spirit, he keeps the name and uses it through out his life. As we travel with Fungido from military to civilian careers, he manages to deal with challenging events that are frequently quite humorous and other times tragic. Whatever arises, Fungido deals with it sometimes clumsily, other times cleverly and many times with draconian implications. Despite it all, Fungido never bores us and is decisive in the actions he pursues to right wrongs he perceives....even when he may be wrong.

About the Book
The Fungido is a nick name given by his maternal grand mother. He keeps this name through out many years of his adventures. All of these accounts are fictional. With the exception of Air Force Sergeants Des Sprinkle & Ray Damitio and Navy Electrician Mate 3rd Class Tom Kennedy, the names and places are fictional. Thus, we go with Fungido as he deals with situations in every era of his experience from the military to civilian life and finally his participation in a professional counseling endeavor.
About the Author
Martin (Marty) Sandy Doria was born and raised in Scranton, PA. He attended Elhi there and after service in the Navy during World War II, graduated from the University Of Scranton. Following a short stint in the U.S. Border Patrol at El Paso and Laredo, Texas. he re-entered the military with the U.S. Air Force for the Korean Conflict. With many interesting assignments in the intelligence and security areas, he gained a broad scope of knowledge in human interactions and leadership qualities. He is married to Ruby Lou Doria nee Lemmons and together they raised 4 sons and one grand daughter. They have completed 56 years of marriage and reside in Pensacola, FL
