About the Author
What if you could turn $1 into 5 Bucks? Well, Jeremy Washburn has figured out how to do just that. It is easier than you might think. Jeremy Washburn holds a B.A. in Japanese from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah. Jeremy's international business career began in Ohio where he worked as an interpreter for a Honda of America Manufacturing parts supplier. He then worked as a corporate trainer for Universal Studios Japan in Hollywood (California), Orlando (Florida), and Osaka (Japan) before starting a career in real estate. Jeremy eventually founded his own real estate brokerage with agents working in new construction, existing home sales, and foreclosures. At the crash of the real estate markets and the global economic crisis, Jeremy utilized his professional experience and business school training in developing the concept of $1 = 5 Bucks which focuses on the role of compound interest in debt, investments, and savings. Jeremy, his wife, Liz, and their family make their home in Utah.
