Which way the wind’s blowin'
will tell me today
of the way I'll be goin'.
Saddle up the chrome horse.
The sun is up and my shadow is showin'
from the west of me
and soon I'll be, feelin' free
with the wind in my hair
my worn out jeans, I do wear
and my breath, I share
with the wind that’s blowin’,
in the direction that I'm goin'.
Feelin' free
and bein' me
not carin' what others might see
in their pretend menagerie.
Let you be you ---- and let me be me
in the wind that's a blowin'.
