“Alex, when we leave the plane, everything is going to change,” she said looking serious. Then she continued, “I don’t want you to worry. It’s a good change.”
“What are you talking about, Sophia? What do you mean everything is going to change?” he asks looking up at her with his big, brown eyes. “Is there something you haven’t told me? Is there something you need to tell me?” Alex waited for a minute and then swallowed hard. “Is … is … is Dad all right?” Alex’s voice quivered.
Sophia never answered. Instead, she turned her gaze back to the exit door.

Pamela, a special education teacher, resides in Berea, Ky with her husband and children. She received her M.A. degree at Eastern Kentucky University in special education. While attaining her Associate of Arts degree at the lcoal community college of her hometown in Jackson, Ky she won second place for the Hazard Community College Storytelling event for creative writing and storytelling. A speaker for two Women of Worth conferences in Jackson, KY. Her love for Christ is transparent in her writing.
