About the Book

Dottie the Sock is a children series that is aimed to teach children to accept and respect themselves and others.  Throughout the series Dottie is on a mission to find herself and encounters many modern day situations.  Dottie will expose young children to differences and teach acceptance in simple and colorful language.

About the Author

Christine Gayle first discovered her love for creating childrens books while reading stories to her nieces and nephews. They would become so excited to hear their names interjected into the stories, and would constantly beg for more. After running out of stories to read, She began to write her own. Creating these stories had a positive impact on the children and influenced her to share her gift with others. Christine currently lives in a small suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois.
