About the Author
Steven T. Robinson, Founder and Executive Director for the Interfaith Social Change Movement is an innovative academician, entrepreneur and accomplished musician with over fifteen years of teaching experience and administration. Upon receiving his masters degree in education from Temple University, he has develop insightful comprehensive programs for disadvantaged children and youth throughout the Philadelphia area, and received numerous citations and proclamations for the diligence of his work in many civic, private and community based organizations. Symbolic to his character, he has also written and composed the organization’s inspirational community anthem “Your Pain Is Mine,” the program’s Pledge of Excellence and receives countless invitations from state and national symposiums on the social development and academic excellence of children programs. Roberta L. Newman has been a dynamic leader in after school programs for over 35 years. Her publications are widely used in training programs for out-of-school programs across the nation. Roberta is the primary author of Core Standards for Philadelphia Youth Programs Implementation Guide, co-author of the Department of Defense School-Age Training and Credentialing Program, and the designer and author of 36 Credentialing Training Modules for After School.
