In a small village there was an art shop. At the end of the day, the owners left the shop and locked up.
Then everything came to life, the pencils and paints all drew colours on the paper and paint on the canvasses.
One of the paintbrushes went to the till and opened it. There was not much in there as it had been bagged up. But hidden at the bottom of the till, there was a five pound note.
The paintbrush looked at this with an odd expression, then all of a sudden, it moved. Paintbrush had to blink and wipe his eyes so that he knew what he saw was real and he was not dreaming.

Fred is a £5 pound note who gets fed up going from peoples pockets,purses and wallets.
One day he meets a paintbrush called Dylan and they plan to escape from the shop together and go on to have many adventures in different places and enjoy meeting new friends.

About the Author
Julie Marie lives in Surrey and was educated at local secondary school.Progressed to college where she qualified as nursery nurse.Has the experience of working in several nurseries with different age ranges.Julie also leads a sunday group for 3-5 year olds.
