Sullen hopes increasing Now in debt
to our Victory; what
whetstone makes for
a sudden Swallow we Merge into
this, Our hibernation -- She
who can Rescue Us
beckons through the Dark
wood whispering quietly Now
linger here in
my Embrace I will stroke
your cheek with the back of my hand
and press
my gentle Lips just there below your hairline --

"Unearthed" is a volume of poetry, drawings, and "Lagrima," a verse play -- I hope you will enjoy it --
About the Author
Julian Ball has been writing and drawing/painting since childhood --
he also plays the guitar and a little piano -- "Unearthed" is his third
volume of poetry to be released through authorhouse -- He also
studied poetic translation in college, won a poetry award in high school, and studies poetry for education/enjoyment most days --
Mr. Ball has a love of language in poetry that drives his writing --
he has been at times a dishwasher, social worker, busboy, but is mostly a poet --
