Sergeant Dreger felt ice cold and scared out of his mind as reality gave way toward something unknown, which he could not identify as normal or insane. He felt like losing his grip on his sanity. He began to noticed faces popping in and out of sight as if mocking him. As the figures began to form, Sergeant Dreger began to forget some of his past. The familiar faces were moving farther and farther away as he struggled to wake up. At the same time reality as he knew it to be began to fade out and become part of his past. He felt very much alone, trying to wake up from the beginnings of a nightmare gone wrrong. All that he knew and loved was ripped away from him and the rest of the world as he knew it. He remembered nothing, but only a small portion of the past as he noticed a flickering light moving farther away. He felt the flickering light was the last remnants of connection with reality

About the Book
In one hellish nightmare, Sergeant Dreger along with his partner Sergeant Holzsauer are trusted back to their past. For one last time, both Marines have a desire to lead marines into combat. This time both marines and their men are returned to one hell of a nightmare gone wrong. In a fit for survival the marines of Lima Co. 3/27th Marine Regiment, try to keep from going insane.
Corporal Don Andrews and Sergeant Jenkins combine their squads in order to save their comrades from the worst nightmare no man can handle.
About the Author
Joe Eleazar Salinas is a former student from Riverside Community College and the University of California Riverside. His return toward getting a higher education earned him his Associates of Arts in the year 2000 and a Bachelor degree in History and Social Science in 2003. During the Vietnam war he volunteered in the Marine Corps in 1967 and did one tour of combat duty as a Machine Gunner, 0331 and Mortar Man, 0341 in 1968. He served with Co. Lima 3rd Battalion, 27th Marine Regiment 1st Marine division through his combat tour in 1968. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2*, a Combat Action Medal, Vietnam campaign Medal w/*device. He also earned two Purple Hearts for being wounded in action and a Presidentail Unit Citation.
