About the Book

For the aspiring writer, CHAD MILLER, extra-marital affairs with JANICE KEY is nothing more than a frolicsome escapade, but his secret union with Case Manager, ERICA LAKE, who’s oblivious to his marriage, is spinning his life out of control. Her intelligence, her beauty, and her ability to love and nurture him just the right way, captivate Chad's heart and mind like no other, ever could.

Chad has a lovely wife in LANA, and four wonderful children. Morally, Chad knows that his newfound love is in the way of his family. But emotionally, he feels like his family is in the way of his newfound love.

It is not his wish to hurt anyone, but Chad is compelled above sensual weakness and beyond sexual need. In his thirst for women lie something darker, and something deeper.

Seeking answers from DR. LEVIN, a philosophical sex therapist, Chad completely opens up, telling his embarrassing bout with sexual inadequacy, and his discomforting childhood fears of growing up a “Fag,” the demoralizing title crowned to his father. Throughout his sessions, Chad discovers that his obsession with women is really his tortured soul, working desperately to distinguish himself from the tendencies of his dad.  

His obstructing issues and serious childhood marks of shame interfere with Chad’s emotional intelligence toward women, and life in general. He knows his dishonest lifestyle can’t go on, and although he hasn’t been brave enough to reveal his disgraceful and brutal truths of betrayal and deception, Lana and Erica are sensing levels of deceit in the man they both love.

It’s all on the line now -- his affair, his marriage, his family, his sanity, and his life. The fear of being discovered pushes Chad to the edge of out of control, and the state of affairs rise to a dangerous peak.

About the Author

Willie M. Wilkins was educated in the public school system of Englewood, New Jersey and attended Dwight Morrow High School. Willie also attended Essex Community College in Newark, New Jersey. When Willie developed an interest in writing he enrolled at the Institute of Children’s Literature in West Redding Connecticut, and since, has completed two children’s books, titled, My Pet Smet, and I See.

Willie has expanded his interests and talent of writing by completing four screenplays, and currently has three in development. He also wrote the treatment entitled, “Sugar Hill,” the true Story of Joe Robinson, the man responsible for spearheading rap into popular music.

Willie has lived in Englewood, NJ for over 20 years. He has been writing in various forms since 1988, and he has solid years and great experience in urban subject matter. His advanced appreciation for impacting others and enriching them with great stories has created an outcry from his community to become a professional writer.

Loves Basketball. Plays daily when not nursing injuries! Enjoys watching movies and loves listening to music – Mostly anything 70’s and 80’s.  Willie holds family time in high regard.
