A B C Animal Safari

About the Book

As I traveled around the United States, I discovered that we are fortunate to have many animals that are native to other countries, living here with us. Working with elementary age children, I found that many children did not know about a lot of these animals. I thought it would be fun to introduce them to thes magnificent creatures through the ABC's. Hence, the ABC Animal Safari was born! On each page wil be found a wonderful animal with silly phrases, highlighting the individual letters of the alphabet on their respective pages. Please join the safari and have as much fun as I did writing this!

About the Author

Leilani has worked in child care and with special needs children on and off throughout her life.  As a first time author she wanted to touch the hearts of all children who love learning and animals.  She has combined her love of children, large animals and photography into this book.  She has traveled all over the country taking pictures.  She has won numerous awards for her photography.  Her pictures hang in the homes of well known artists.  She lives in Portsmouth, RI with her 10 year old daughter, husband, great dane, turtle, cat, parakeets and hermit crabs.
