I Walk In Dreams
I walk in dreams both day and night,
paths crossing through the day.
At night I find the solitude,
where candles light the way.
A castle high upon a hill,
the ocean roaring near.
I find the prince of darkest dreams,
I knew he'd still be here.
He waits among the shadowed halls,
where whispers fill the air.
I find my way across the clouds,
he waits until I'm there.
I drift away, lost in his eyes,
the strength around him grows.
Our hearts begin to beat as one,
I fear my weakness shows.
The night is spent within the shroud
of all those lost to love.
I feel their spirits all around,
their voices....high above.
I pass from darkness into light,
from sadness into bliss.
I drift among my many dreams,
lost only in his kiss.

About the Book
This book is a personal journey through the lives of three generations of the authors family, told in great detail. It begins with her grandparents; Edgil and Minnie "Griffith" Wicker in 1924. Her mother, AnnaBelle, was the second of fifteen children, and first daughter. AnnaBelle's life is one of twists and turns. Married twice, divorced twice, two daughters, and a gypsy spirit. The story leads into Carolyn's life as the journey continues. Her childhood, marraige, loves, temptations, and the decisions that would remain in her heart and haunt her dreams. As she will eventually learn...The heart does go on.
The author has added her poetry to the flow of the story. She has also included photographs of the family to help bring the story to life for the readers. Some of these date from the early 1900's.
About the Author
As you know, my name is Carolyn Sue "Bollan" Morris. I was born in Valparaiso, Indiana, home of a great university. This is my first published work. It came about because of the promise I made to my mother, AnnaBelle, that I would complete "the book". After she passed away on October 4, 2007, the manuscript lay untouched for almost a year. Then I realized the most appropriate way to honor her memory was to finish the process. I feel her presence with me each and every day, I know she shares my pride and happiness at seeing the completed work in print. I hope you will share the experience with us.
I have a passion for writing, finishing this project has pushed me forward with my goals. I am in the process of writing my second non-fiction book, 'AnnaBelle & Me'. The first work barely touched on the journeys our lives together took Mom, my sister Kathy, and I, this will be more in depth and continuing. As you can see from this book, there was never a dull moment with Mom, so many adventures, so little time. I have also compiled a series of children's picture books, "The Adventures Of Dusty Boy", I hope to publish this year.
I have been married to John for 43 years. We have two children, Jennifer and Johnny. They have given us six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. we share our home with Dusty and Weezer, our two little Bichons.
