About the Author
Growing up in quiet little Royal Oak, Michigan, the author never dreamed she would some day live in Saudi Arabia, land of mystique, camels, and genie lamps in the mid 1980s. She now even has her own genie lamp!
This book is based on her diaries she kept and is the second book she has had published based on her diaries. The first was titled, "Diary of a Social Worker", published in 2006. She worked in social work twenty years. She also has written, illustrated, and published eight children's humorous poem books under the name, Grandma Tickle-toes® available through Amazon or Grandma at grandmatickle@aol.com.
Hobbies include entertaining as Grandma Tickle-toes in costume, and doing standup comedy with material she has written. Her mentor is Phyllis Diller
