Scene Ten
Sean woke up to a voice whispering his name. He opened his eyes to see a figure in charcoal standing over his bed, with a huge gun in his hand. The gun barrel’s matching silencer rested on his forehead, above and between his eyes. He struggled to move, but couldn’t. His whole body was paralyzed! Never before had his body failed him. A moan of fear and shame escaped his slender body.
“Good evening, Sean.” In a soft voice, the man in dark gray spoke with an educated Irish accent. “I have been hired to give you a message. If you ever plant, or drop, another bomb, you will be killed. I will kill you. Do I make myself perfectly understood?”
“Who th’ fuck are you, and what the fuck’ve you done to me?” he whispered, fear dripping off of every word. He had never felt so helpless in all his life. He wanted to shout for help but his lungs wouldn’t function properly. He felt like he was suffocating!
“I am mist or smoke, Sean Michael O’Brien. I can find you anywhere. I can get to you anywhere. There is no place in this whole, wide, wonderful world, that you can hide from me. And no one can protect you.”
The figure bent over and the light from the window reflected off the scariest silver eyes he had ever seen! “As to what I did to you, you don’t need to know. What you do need to know is that the effects will wear off in about an hour, and you will be perfectly fine. Now, I’m going to explain it to you one more time, Sean. If you plant, or drop, another bomb, I will kill you.”
“I don’t know what the fuck you’re talkin’ about! I never planted no bombs! You got the wrong bloke!” he whispered.
The grey garbed hooded figure reached behind his head, and Sean went back to sleep.

Sean Michael O’Brien was twenty one years old, and a top assassin and terrorist for the ‘Black Hand’ Terrorist Organization, ‘Black Hand or BHTO’ as the media called them! Sean was the spawn of an unknown ‘BHTO’ father and a young loyal ‘Black Hand’ Irish prostitute.
Indoctrinated and raised on the dogma of the ‘Black Hand’ propaganda, young Sean distinguished himself early, with the ‘powers that be’ in the ‘Black Hand’ organization, by killing an English policewoman, at the tender age of thirteen! (Sean was thirteen, not the policewoman.)
“Slit ‘er throat from ear to ear I did!” he’d bragged.
Sean had no social conscience, no qualms about killing the Enemy. He believed himself to be invincible, because, though he’d been detained and questioned by the authorities on numerous occasions, he’d never been charged with any crime.
Sean Michael O’Brien, led to believe by his superiors that he was the perfect ‘Black Hand’ assassin; (young enough to be taken for a number of different ages, good looking, well groomed, clean cut and innocent enough looking to get into the top security places most of the seasoned veterans couldn’t); was the one who planted the bomb and filmed the footage that Damon Gray saw on the television.
