Feats and Patience and Love
Sometimes, my life, stormy weather.
Sometimes, it takes days and weeks,
Sometimes months,
To get myself together.
Once my life was so torn and broken.
To yield to death, I thought I’d rather,
But those boisterous winds silenced
Their turbulent
And periling threats,
None life clouds disbursed from the aisles
Of my island and inlet.
Today, with life, I have no qualms;
No regrets.
I learned to weather the storm.

This book shares my belief and faith in God, in prayer and in praise.
I was a soul struggling for sanity. Thinking my life defeated, to Him - God - I wholly retreated. He enabled me to weather the storm.
I hope my poetry will lift the spirit of readers in bleak hours, and encourage them to enjoy the beauty of this great world, and accept God's invitation to everlasting life.
I would like to relate that God is always there to steer a fate if one in patience, in faith, in prayer -- wait.

About the Author
Ruby Dell Ross is the eldest of 16 children born to Alma Jean Kearney of Bolivar, Tennessee. Raised by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Henrietta Anderson of Toone, Tennessee -- Ruby graduated from Bolivar Industrial High School in 1962 and went on to attend Tennessee State University where she met and married Max C. Ross.
She is the mother of three daughters and seven grandchildren. She currently resides in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee where she is an active member of Evans Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoys music, gardening, cooking, and writing poetry.
