About the Book

The Coach:  13 Simple Life Lessons is a simple, easy to read book for teens and adults alike, densely packed with life instructions ranging from how to constantly increase your own self-esteem, focus on maintaining a positive mental attitude and the power of setting specific goals.  These success traits, along with ten other, are shared by a caring, wise grandfather with his grandson during a pivotal time in the young man’s life.  The process the grandfather shares is based on a more than two-hundred year old self-improvement process developed by Mr. Benjamin Franklin.

In this book you will learn:

1)      Success should be defined by you and is achieved through small, daily advantages and fundamental practices

2)      Positive attitude and good daily choices are key to your happiness and success

3)      What you think about, most of the time, will predict your future

4)      Only those willing to work will achieve true success and happiness

5)      Benjamin Franklin’s self-improvement process

6)      Thirteen character building words

7)      One-Hundred and four reminder phases and quotes to aid in the use of this powerful tool!

About the Author

At eighteen, David G. Giese was introduced to his first book on the subject of self-improvement and the concept that you do not have to be sick to get better.

After only a short introduction, he took some of the basic concepts and utilized them while earning his college degree.  Though only an average student in high school, and challenged with a learning disability, he graduated from college in 4 years with honors!  His professional, high tech career includes seventeen years at IBM and ten years at Dell in middle management.  He is a loving husband of 26 years, a father of two sons and a picture of health participating in several sprint triathlons annually.  David became a certified Life Coach in 2006, positioning himself to pursue his desire to help others reach their goals and objectives.
