About the Author
Yoni White-Pilet’s journey started many years ago in London, England, at 9:45 am, where she was born to a loving couple from the island of Montserrat, West Indies. This was a hurdle the doctors claimed she wouldn’t clear; because her birth weight was just 4 lbs. They told her parents to leave her at the hospital; and that they would watch over Yoni until she made her journey to the other side. But her parents refused to give up on her. They took Yoni home and nurtured her. Years later, her parents moved their entire family to Boston, Massachusetts, where Yoni attended school and went on to become a Boston Public School teacher; teaching for several years.
