Four months later, Zo decides to go to a nightclub called the Temple. He goes there with some of his boys. He sees Telisha there. He goes to the bar and buys himself a white Russian and buys her a long island iced tea. She is there with a few of her friends. He walks over towards her, hands her the iced tea, and asks her for a dance. The DJ plays a slow song. Zo pulls Telisha to him and they start slow dancing.
Telisha asks, “What’s up with you and your girl?”
Zo replies, “Not a darn thing.”
“So y’all still are having problems?”
“Not anymore.”
”Not anymore?”
“We split up about a few months ago.”
“Why? What happened?”
“I don’t know. She kept accusing me of cheating when she knew that I wasn’t. And you know how the saying goes.”
“Yes, she must be feeling guilty about something.”
“Anyways when I came home from work, she had my clothes in bags outside the house. So I said forget it, grabbed my stuff, and caught the hall behind.”
“Well, I didn’t think that she was right for you anyway.”
“So are you still messing with that want to be player, cain head brother,” Zo asks?
“Tyrone,” she replies, “No. And he ain’t no cain head.”
“Whatever. That dude snorts so much cocaine that if he sneezes, it’ll look like it’s snowing in Tampa,” Zo saying being sarcastic.
“Anyway, I got fed up with his cheating, so I broke it off.” She pauses. “Why can’t I get a man that will be faithful? I’m not a bad looking woman. I work, go to school, and I’m true to my man. Why can’t I get the love that I’m looking for?”
“Because you’re looking so far ahead. What you’re looking for is so near.” He pauses. “I mean we’ve been tap dancing around for years.”
Telisha responds, “I don’t want to lose you as a friend. You’re a good friend to me.”
“I can also be a good man to you. Baby, I’ll always keep a smile on your face. I’ll treat you like the princess that you are. So what do you say?”

As we go through this road that we call life, we all will encounter some sort of betrayal. And that betrayal often comes from someone that is very close to you. It's up to you to dicipher if the help is geniune or not. Since Satan comes in different disguises, it's up to us to lean on Jesus to help us figure out what's right or what's wrong. Satan may get into your mind, but Jesus lives in your heart. Listen to your heart, Jesus will never let you down.

ZoeBoe is ex-military. He was in the Army '87 - '90. He is originally from Tampa, FL. He comes from a large family. He has 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He first started writing after he completed an English II course at Hillsborough Community College. His professor inspired him to write because of his vivid imagination and his poetic skills. He performed and recorded music with several different rap artists also. DJ Trans and Terock are the two most current. He went through many harsh break-ups in his lifetime. Since he is an easy going person, people have the tendency to use him alot. He is a very protective, sensitive, harsh, and loving person. He believes that he should treat his wife like the queen that she is. His mother had struggled to raise himself and his siblings by herself. He tries hard not to allow for his wife to undergo the pressure of life that his mother underwent.
