About the Book

A book of poetry that offers love, hope and encouragement to those who are grieving and also addresses the comfort received from life saving organ donation. It was written as a form of therapy that helped the author work through her grief after suddenly losing her husband to what seemed a senseless accident within their home.  It offers encouragement to those who are grieving and the hope that through their memories of the past, they can move on to the future.

About the Author

Sally Harmon lost her husband of 33 years when he accidentally fell from a ladder on an ordinary Saturday morning.  Remembering their life together and recognizing the wonderful gift she had for so long has helped her cope with her grief and enabled her to face the reality of this loss.  This is a love story of a grieving partner left behind to face life on her own with new hope and purpose.

When you read these poems, you take her journey from despair to a sense of peacefulness and strength.  You feel her sadness, her love and her pain.  You also feel the moments of joy as she realizes that life truly must continue and you feel her heart as it begins to mend giving in to the past so she can look to the future. You remember with her and although she was not ready, she begins to smile again.
