Born in the “Northwest Territory” known as the “Last Frontier” in a then small town called Anchorage, Alaska this writer has taken the adventures of boyhood, "North Slope" experiences and places traveled within Alaska to share.

Most of the writings were inspired by time spent 650 miles north of Anchorage and about 250 miles north of the town considered the most climatic change of temperature in the world; Fairbanks, Alaska where temperatures range from 60 below zero to 95 above in the summer months.

From 1977 to 1987 this writer spent a week on and week off schedule with a major oil company traveling to and from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska . The silent bond in friendship and experiences reflect the beauty of this unique place with unique writer content.

Well traveled now and living in the Aloha State of Hawaii, Nathan felt it was time to go back in time and glance through a time capsule and give illustrations of Alaska’s beauty that have motivated him to share places that will give you a “northern exposure”. Pour a glass of wine or milk and enjoy stories of old from the land of the Midnight Sun, Aurora Borealis, Polar Bear and a few wise-tale Alaskan stories created for your entertainment.

About the Author

Born in Anchorage years before Alaska claimed its statehood this author grew up with the extraordinary experiences with knowledge of Huskies, Ravens, Moose, Fox, Bears and many other northern animals.

From starts of the Iditarod Dog Race in Anchorage to the North Slope experiences in Prudhoe Bay where he worked as Flow Measurement Specialist and Instrumentation-Electrical Technician, and Planner at the world's largest gas plant, flow stations, drill sites and a number of places along the 800 mile long pipeline.  The experiences of the "SLOPE" has changed his perspective for wildlife forever both external and internally.

In 2006 while working and living in Hawaii he had an event that has also changed his life.  This event left him with a different ability as he calls this serious disability. "Always look at the bright side of life" is his methodology for living.

Blessed to have lived through this ordeal, the event inspired him to share some of the past experiences so that his close friends and love-ones would one day understand his undying gratitude for their support and sacrifice during these most trying times.  He has been left in a wheel-chair yet his love for life is stronger than ever.  God willing he works everyday at walking again and is looking forward to sharing his unbelievable set of circumstances that has inspired many people who have witnessed his comeback.

Look for the next book entitled "The Event" flashbacks of a stroke victim.
