This is a story about my childhood to reality. Everything in this book is true to the best of my memory. Some of the names have been changed. It took me a long time to realize that telling the truth is the easiest way to live a happy life. I try to be honest with everyone I know and I apologize to all the people I hurt when I was growing up. Please have an open mind and heart and I hope you enjoy reading this book. My inspiration to do this book goes to my husband, children, and grand children. I love you all, and may you all have a better life than I did. I was dealt a crappy hand and figured out through the grace of God, and the school of hard knocks, it’s easier to be honest. It makes you a much happier person in the end. Lorie

I guess you never know why humans do the things they do..Until you understand the individual inside and out, You would be called God.
The next closest you could ever get would be a true soul mate.
Now for the ones that thought I was just plain mean. I was but, I do apologize to all the people I hurt when I was growing up or have had an encounter with.
I brought alot of things on myself, but, I'm a better person because of it.

About the Author
This book is a small window into the life of a southern girl that has heart as big as the sky. She was raised in a family that never knew her.
After going through emotional, mental, and sexual abuse, to include rape by a family member, that no child should have to endure. She was raised in a family that the words "I love you" were seldom heard and it took a long time to find herself. She was treated like an outcast for so long, no one could know her pain. Someday, hopefully, her family can understand her as the beautiful person she is inside. She had to learn how to deal with the cruelty from the very people that she was supposed to be able to trust and love.
If it weren't for her relationship with her husband and her belief in GOD, she would not be the person she is today. Some people say she has a fairytale romantic relationship with a man that loves her dearly.
