Teenagers just worry about being teenagers and getting through grade school and high school. Then they plan what you might want to do with your life given the opportunities in your country, state, and communities. You only live life once, and you want to absorb as much accurate and useful information and experience as you can from your peers, books, magazines, and television to prepare you for years of healthy life ahead. This starts by being a good teenager. That doesn’t mean you can’t change if you have rough teenage years, it just means you are better prepared for the real world ahead if you can get through your teenage years without injuring yourself or hurting yourself in the many ways possible going through those tough teenage years. As a teenager, you should want to try to stay active within the school that you go to in order to practice your social skills and learn as much as you can about activities that can help you to involve yourself in life for years to come. That is, get you from the young adult years through the later years in life when things usually change drastically for the person who was once of youth. You can build long lasting relationships also that way. Face it, not everyone decides or desires to go to college or teach school, however, they will want the basic skills and philosophies to get through life in order to be content with them, contribute to society, and basically stay out of trouble.
As a teenager you should start to think about things you like and dislike. Think about things that you find that start to interest you, and decide whether these things are good or bad for you, and whether they will keep you out of trouble. This can actually start as an adolescent when your parents started you in activities that you may or may not decide to continue keeping into your teenage or older years. Face it, you may not really decide your likes or dislikes until later on in life or just the fact that your interests may change as you get older. People might suggest trying different things as you get older and older or it may be something you hear about through the media, however, that is usually how interests change, but you have to start somewhere such as with your teenage years. You may find something that interest you as a teenager that will carry you throughout your life or there are other things that you will just plane grow out of. Anyhow, you will find that your teenage years are a very much important part of your life as a whole.
All the other subjects mentioned in this book are learned in grade school through college (if you go to college) and affect every aspect of your life in some form or fashion as you go through life. There are very good books on the information included in this book written by professors and much more can be learned as you get older and older.
