Even though Stacey turned her back on me, I never wished any bad on her, but I'm pretty sure she felt differently about me. Slowly but surely I would take a turn for the worse, once again. I would start back to smoking crack. This is what I get for flirting with the devil, I knew better, but it had to take it's course. My job performance would drop, My attendance wasn't looking good. I would eventually have to go on medical leave due to my depression, and that wasn't good. I never talked to know one thing about this woman and the problems that we shared. I just kept everything on the inside. After being out of works for awhile and smoking crack on a regular basis, I knew I would have to clean up my act soon before returning to work. But whenever I'd get my hands on some change, crack would start calling. I would eventually clean up a little bit, but not much, so that I could return to work. After returning to work, Stacey acted like we had been still seeing each other. She would start to talk to me again as if nothing ever happened, and the pain started to go away. We would become close again, breaking Cookies heart. Cookie would finally get tired of me being selfish, trifling, and just a no good husband and dad. Which she was so right! We still loved each other very much, but I had a choice to straighten up, but I didn't. Stacey was so happy that Cookie had left me and she figured that this would leave the door open for her. Wrong!

About the Book
This is a story about a country boy raised in South Carolina during the good old days. He would accept Jesus Christ into his heart at an early age. As time would pass, he would become engaged and would later marry his high school sweet heart. Shortly after, they would start a family which would be very stressful and a lot of medical problems would follow. During all this, he would commit adultery as well as turn to drugs and alcohol to release some of the pain that he was bringing to every one around him. But through it all, he'd remember who had been there so many times before.

A God fearing man. I enjoy reading the bible, watching tv, being with my family and living for God. I was inspired to write this book from some of the things that I went through. I enjoy helping others and I hope that this book will encourage others to hold on and never give up.
