About the Book
In this poetic adventure the reader is challenged to a new reflection, on a much wider plane than the author’s usual typical slant on life, with its whims and crossroads, yet blended with his charismatic wit of Cuban humour. To delights of love, glimpses into the future and everything concise yet of profound meaning, makes us feel as lords of the universe. One will find Victor’s own inspired proverbs, phrases and haiku, all entwined with reality to be either relished or simple drowned in the atmosphere of short prose embellished with quips and satire which makes the reader feel at ease. Victor has had his book “Love Forever” published and has other titles ready for publication such as “A Book of Impossibilities”, “Snippets on Life”, “Verses and Victor’s Law”, “Hundreds of Mini-Tales and One Desire’, “The Hole”(tales), “Friends”, “The City and its Surroundings’, and so on. About the Author
Victor Ramón Durañona (Cuba 1952). Originally from Cuba. He lives in Northampton, England since 1994. Most of Victor Durañona’s works are written as reflexive short stories; brief prose pieces and a personal style of free-verse which makes the reader ponder and reflect. As well as the book ‘Love Forever’, he has written other books in his own characteristic style, including the ‘World Under My Feet’, ‘Snippets of Life’, ‘Verses and Victor’s Law’, ‘Two Hundreds of Mini Tales and One Desire’, etc… Time, love and musings on Life, itself are his main themes which give body to his poetry. Notas del Autor Víctor Ramón Durañona (Cuba 1952). Proveniente de Cuba. Vive en Northampton, Inglaterra desde 1994. La mayoría de sus obras están dirigidas al campo de la narrativa corta, la prosa breve y un estilo personal del verso libre que con discreción conduce al lector hacia la reflexión.
