About the Book
Not A Used Dog, At All won Best Children's Book from Dog Writers Association of America and Dogwise Best Book Award for 2010. Matt only wants a fluffy pet store puppy, not a 'used' dog from the shelter. When he reluctantly meets a homeless dog, he learns some truths about shelter dogs, store bought puppies, and the difference a kid can make in the world. In Not A Used Dog, At All, Matt finds out that sometimes the best outcome is the one you didn't expect.
