About the Author
Anthony created his first chocolates 18 years ago after baking his mother’s recipe for Italian wine cookies. Wanting a bite of chocolate on the dessert tray, he experimented with milk chocolate, caramel, and pecans, leading to his first success- turtles. He compares chocolate making with his background in industrial technology. “You have to work out a process and streamline it to develop a product. However, this end result is much more fun. You can taste it!”
Born in Rockford, Illinois, he now lives in La Quinta, California, with his wife Carol. Sons Bill and David and their families live nearby. He enjoys sports, supporting his favorite charities and universities, listening to music of the 40’s and 50’s, cooking Italian dishes, and, of course, creating handmade chocolates.
