About the Book

LOVE’S SIMPLICITY is the author’s first book of poems, inspired by her mother’s seventy-fourth birthday celebration. It expresses the thoughts of the heart from many experiences and situations. It also contains expressions of thoughts for different occasions—birthdays, weddings, bereavement, etc. This book is to inspire those who have dreams they wanted to pursue but hesitated, letting those dreams fade away. It is never too late to pursue those dreams or ambitions.

Every day is a new day and a new beginning and the author plans to pursue every moment to express her thoughts in her own way, even in a poem.

About the Author

Gloria Austin was a former secretary with the Los Angeles Superior Court. She now resides in Laughlin, Nevada with her husband of sixteen years. She is the mother of one son who resides in California.

Gloria began writing poems in 2000 in celebration of her mother’s seventy-fourth birthday. She was further inspired to write poems for friends and other family members.

This is her first book, and her goal is to write many other works that will inspire and encourage people.
