About the Book
Since
the dawn of time and as far back in human history as anyone can
explore, human beings have been curious, even fascinated by their
dreams. In many of the world’s ancient cultures and civilizations, much
has been described about dreams through sacred and religious writings.
People from all walks of life have looked to their dreams for various
purposes, including hope, inspiration, revelations, insights and
communications, as many still do today.
This book explores many
of the processes involved in dreams and dreaming, as well as exploring
new territory rarely covered in books that explores this subject. Most
books about dreams limit themselves to describing what various images
and symbols mean in your dream, as if dreaming of a chicken will be the
same for all people!
We have pushed the envelope well beyond
such limited perceptions and provided not only intellectually
stimulating and challenging information, but have designed the flow of
the information to guide the reader to naturally and easily get a
‘feel’ for their own dreams, the images within their dreams and
the very nature of their dream environment. Though the images and
symbols within a dream are of interest to the dreamer, the very dream
environment itself has significances rarely considered, which we make
quite clear that this too is part of the dreamers’ experiences,
assisting in unlocking the secrets of the dreamers life!
As the
material takes the reader further and deeper into the universe of
dreams, it becomes evident that the dreamer has many resources and
tools available to gain a deeper awareness and recognition of not just
how precious and revelatory dreams are, but also becomes aware of just
how creative and value filled human life is. Though the subject of this
book is dreams, it really is about life and its Inner Dimensions.
