A Picture of Love
God presents to us a perfect
picture of love
so gentle…softer than snow,
like a pure white dove.
When God sent his beloved son
A picture of love is given,
Jesus Christ being His only son,
more radiant than the sun that’s risen.
Another picture of love is shown,
when Almighty God leaves His thrown
to save the righteous from the sick world
He has forever known.
God’s picture of love is
so awesome, so unmeasurable
one will never understand it,
for it is so incredible.
A picture of love He will always be
because into this world He came
for all mankind to be saved,
and to be free.

About the Author
Vanessa A. Jackson Austin is an accounts payable/receivable clerk, author, poet, writer, jewelry designer, and stained glass designer. She received her undergraduate degrees in Marketing and a minor in Management from Jacksonville State University, and in Accounting from Athens State University. She also received her Master’s in Business Education from Alabama A&M University. Vanessa owns and manages CABBIT Designs, which is based in Harvest, Alabama. She authored her first book of poetry and quotes, entitled “Live On: Inspirational Poems & Quotes” in June 2006. Two poems from her first book, “Help Me, Lord” and “What A Creation,” are published in Anthologies. Vanessa, her husband, and their three sons reside in Harvest, Alabama.
