About the Author

As a mother of three young children with adventurous imaginations and a love for dancing, There's a Lion on the Dance Floor was a fitting choice to launch Kristin's writing career. She has been interested in writing for many years, but the inspiration she finds within her children has turned a dream into a reality. She is a master's level licensed social worker, mother, and wife who loves music and dancing, writing, and spending time with family and friends.

About the Illustrator:
There's a Lion on the Dance Floor is the first book Kelly has ever illustrated and she is delighted to be reaching her goals to become a children's book illustrator. Her passion for art and animals of all kinds have been an inspiration since childhood. She has a B.F.A. in painting and drawing and is currently completing her master's degree in art education.
