About the Author
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Literary art introduces its most hottest, most aspiring, yet prolific African-American romance author yet, V. Ann Weeks!
Born and raised in the innocent beauty of North Carolina, it is where she still resides and hopes to raise a family. The eldest of ten siblings she was destined for greatness. Her mother was her inspiration. "Mommy is an awesome writer and speaker," Ms. Weeks states. "She has such strength and power in words. I remember saying, 'I want that!'" At eleven her father read one of her short stories and thought she wrote better than most college students. That struck a chord. She would one day write her own literary works. The stage of life presented itself with setbacks but did not stop production. Today that dream is reality.
She credits Jesus Christ for her successes. "Without Him there is no me," she states. Giving the book totally back to God signifies allowing Him full control. "I'll go as far as God allows." Although some find it odd she includes scriptural references in her steamy novels it has become her signature, following the lead of her favorite African-American romance author, Brenda Jackson. "God is love," V. Ann defends, "and I believe He honors a healthy expression of that love."
V. Ann Weeks writes to inspire and in some way tell the world about Christ. She believes God can be found in the most surprising places and bring about hope. "Nothing is impossible!" she continues. "See the dream, then do the dream! God will honor your faith and effort!"
Thanks to AuthorHouse Publishing, V. Ann Week's first novel, A Corporate Temptation, is due for release in early 2011. She is also currently working on her second novel scheduled for fall 2012.
