FOREWORD

God says, “My people shall be destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). It is so apparent that they are on the path of destruction because of the immoral acts that are occurring more and more each day. Acts of degradation, fornication, greed, jealousy, hatred, murder, and so much more are becoming the norm instead of rare occurrences.

I would like to introduce to you Karen’s Anointed Expressions Presents: Blessed. This book is in a coffee table format with the purpose of capturing people’s attention through visual images—images that God has given me over the past few years to express His word. The concept is that this book will draw the attention of individuals who do not know Him on a personal level and allow them to get to know Him; it will also serve as confirmation for others, so that they may continue to draw closer to Him.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Karen Bolden lives in Pinole, California with her husband, Ronald. She has been a registered nurse at Doctors Medical Center for twenty-nine years. She is currently working as a case manager/discharge planner. Karen and Ron have five children who are all grown; however, they are also raising a nephew, while supporting other nieces and nephews as well.

Karen chose to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior fourteen years ago. While she did not attend theology school, she believes God can and will use anyone who allows himself or herself to be used as a vessel to spread the gospel. She feels that the obedience she has shown to the Holy Spirit by writing this book will be a blessing to all who read it. This is Karen’s first book, and she is looking forward to what God has planned for her to write next.
