About the Book

Probably most comprehensive book on creating almost anything using a combination of metal or plastic mesh and concrete, commonly known as Ferrocement process. The reader/user will spend a modicum of money to become a proficient amature sculptor.

About the Author

Presently, I am 77 years of age, having practiced law until the age of 65. Approximately 12 years ago, I read an article in Organic Gardening Magazine that described how to make containers using ¼" hardware cloth, and then coated with concrete. This sounded interesting and I decided to make some objects, which process is called Ferro cement or Ferro concrete.

I made 4 artifacts and decided that I enjoyed doing this.

I then went all out and made my elephant, which graces the cover of my book.

Now some 12 years later, I have become quite proficient in the Ferro concrete method of sculpture and feel that I can import some information to aspiring sculptors or amateurs on what to do cheaply and easily.

Approximately 7 years ago, I commenced working on my Coral Reef, which presently consists of 76 Coral Islands, populated with numerous fish and sea creatures and sits on over 2 surface acres of land, with work in progress.

I laughingly allude to myself as the greatest unrecognized self-proclaimed Ferro Concrete Sculptor in the world.
