About the Author

After twenty five years as a manager and vice president of a major fortune 500 company, Dr, Mitchell heard the call to go into full time ministry with the message of Inner Healing for the Soul which is the mind, will and emotions.  Coupled with a high powered and challenging career while raising two children as a single parent, Dr. Mitchell was still driven by passion and destiny on the inside of her for hurting people, women and children, thereby serving as a minister during 22 of those 25 years at her company.  Currently she has a counseling ministry to incest/sexually abused people, but also to those who are broken and damaged by divorce, abandonment, rejection, grief, bitterness betryal and other devastating issues of life.  Under the leadership of her pastors, she aslo serves as Director of the pastoral care ministry at her church.    Dr. Mitchell has an unquencable desire to see men and women, boys and  girls walk in the  deliverance and wholeness that has been prearranged and predestined for their lives. That is why her book, Inner Heaing for the Soul, takes one on the inside of himself to work out the hurts and pain of the soul- mind, will and emotions. 

In 2008, Dr, Betty added her doctorate degree in the area of pastoral and clinical counseling to her 22 years of ministry.  she is a licensed counselor and an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
