....Sometime after the sun had risen high in the midday sky, the friends came across a cavern half hidden in the cliffs. Its opening came just to the water's edge. "Look," Gypsy motioned excitedly with her head. "Let's check it out." "I don't know," Rowen answered caution in her voice. "It looks awful dark inside." "We'll just go look," Gypsy prodded. "What do you think, Saiwn?" "Well," he cautiously agreed, "if we're only looking." The three netties entered the cave cautiously, gingerly sniffing the salty air. The deeper into the cavern they traveled, the shallower the water became, until they were standing on a sandy floor. Gypsy stopped for a moment, but continued to sniff the air. Now its scent was different, not as salty smelling. Before them was a faint light, behind them only the dark cave water and the sea. Her curiosity flared. "Where do you think the light comes from?" She asked Saiwn and Rowan. They turned their sleek heads and followed Gyspy's gaze. Ever the cautious one, Rowan said, "Maybe we should go back to the sea." Saiwn, wanting to appear brave, replied. "We've come this far, why don't we go see." "I don't kno--" Rowan began, but Gypsy spoke up. "Yes, let's go see."
