And makes potent statements with upraised fists

About the Author
At the age of 24, Sasha Bonay is now a part of the circle of authors and writers to know. Sasha Bonay was born and raised in N.Y.C., growing up in the South Bronx and later on settling in East New York, Brooklyn. Her mother passed on when she was only nine years old, thus started her motivation to let her anger and frustrations out on paper.
Writing since she was 9 years old, From the Heart of a Down Chick is her first completed literary work to come forth. Sasha Bonay is currently serving the country in the US Army. She has done a 15 month deployment in Iraq and isn't done yet! She is now considered a US Veteran. Sasha Bonay is a wife and the proud mother of a 5 year old daughter.
