About the Book

Noble Greystone is an imaginary author, as are his stories.  He can also be found as a character in two of the enclosed stories.

In reality, the true author, Matthew A. Parks, is a lifelong resident of Southern Maryland.  He is a retired senior, who is somewhat reclusive and enjoys writing as a hobby.  He hopes that you will enjoy reading his stories and find them entertaining.

The enclosed collection of short story fiction is set in various places and times in American History as well as in the present.  The characters range from Native American Indians and Mountain Men, to a Cowboy, who is forgotten by the History of the West; a rebel teenage girl; criminals; alien hybrids; entertainers; a ship-wrecked English sailor; a missing Alaskan bush pilot; an insane artist; and, an Appalachian family living in 1940 Kentucky.

Some stories contain explicit language, violence, and sexual content.
