More than Just Words
Everything I write is more than just words.
They are my life ready to be heard.
I write to express what I am feeling.
Sometimes my word just leaves me kneeling.
I sit here thanking God every single day.
He allows me to be able to write and say.
My words have been there when no one cared.
Places that just made you want to pull out your hair.
My words have been hurt and broken.
They have made some of my shirts left soaking.
From all the tears I cried.
I even love a couple of guys.
My words have been happy and glad.
They were not anywhere near being sad.
My words have been on a road, and didn’t like what it saw.
So they turned back around, and just moseyed along.
So you see my words are more than just words.
They are my own lessons that life let me learn.
