We are stardust. We began as such, and we will end as such.
The entire evolution of humankind has been an ever accelerating search for and return to our home, and to our Creator.
Take a look at the clear night sky, feel the deep love of another, listen to the elegant wisdom and timeless grace of the aged, or take in a masterpiece. This all could not have happened by accident, and, it most certainly did not happen by accident. Therefore, it was designed, and designed for us, fellow travelers.
The question is: “Why?” The answers are not simple, but we can grasp at them, based upon what we know of life.
A clue as to the purpose lies in our own evolution, whether of thought, of spirit, of action, or of body. We know that when we evolve correctly, what some religions call, ‘finding the way’ or ‘following the path’, that life begins to offer us a daily, steady menu of treasures, small blessings, and with the passage of time, larger miracles.
It is harder for many to see the beauty, to smell the roses, to slow down long enough to make room for grace inside of our minds, and within our over programmed lives. It is from the perspectives of those who knowingly drink from the cup of life’s purposes that this book is written.
Some among us deny the evolution of our bodies. They do not ask why we have four wisdom teeth, one coccyx, ten fingernails, and a built in fear of each and every one of the creepy, crawly animals and insects.
Some among us deny spiritual evolution. They do not ask why we have to learn first not to lie, cheat and steal about missing cookies, so that we later do not do the same on bigger playgrounds with other people’s money, innocence, or spirit.
Some among us deny the evolution of our thought. They do not ask why each and every major advancement of humankind has come from an infinite mixing of the thoughts of others, diverse peoples, to cook up new theories, like taking frozen genius from the icebox of the ages, mixing it over the flames of trial and error, producing newer, better recipes.
Some among us deny the evolution of our actions. They do not ask why we take better care of that which we think we own, and that the more we share, the more we own, and that the truth of an ever expanding humanity is sharing more with ever greater numbers of fellow travelers, and that sharing is love, which is all we really needed in the first place.
It is easier for some not to ask the hard questions, but to deny. It is for these fellow travelers that this book is written.
The purpose of life is to evolve, embracing the forces that took stardust and forged an intelligence, over eons of time and light years of space, with just the right amount of drive, and just the right quality of spirit to find its way home again.
We’re knocking on heaven’s door. We will all go home. There is a purpose. The design of life is good. The pathway of evolution is efficiency, elegance, improvement and fulfillment.

About the Book
In his 5th book, Dr. Dosemagen again demonstrates his considerable story telling capacity. This writing shifts in focus from entertaining short stories, (as in The Impossible) and novels (as in Prodigies and The Trigger) toward a how-to book offering a road map toward a new model of transformational leadership. Though Human Engineering is first and foremost a book about succeeding ethically, it does not stray far from Dosemagen’s first love: biting, yet cogent social commentary.

The book opens with Dosemagen’s visions of the past and the future; he summons an Hegelian dialectic, beginning in a primordial setting where humankind lacks language and norms, and evolves through increasingly complex social and physical attributes. It culminates with the loftiest elements of modern American culture, which he sees as very good.
Yet, the book articulates the many problems that remain unsolved. What does Dosemagen see as the next evolutionary step for humankind? For those who have attained the requisite morality and intellect, he claims the future calls for human engineering – an enlightened, humanistic equation that unites humanity and works to make life both fairer and easier to understand. About the Author
Founder and Chairman of the American Dream Party of the United States of America, Dr. Tim Dosemagen resides in southern Arizona with his wife and children. At the age of 16, Dr. Dosemagen walked into the Armed Forces recruiting station located in an office under the Post Office across from Mary D. Bradford high school of Kenosha, Wisconsin, leaving his family at the age of 17, and serving in the United States Air Force for 7 years during the Carter and Reagan Administrations as a Cryptologic Analyst, studying various military and industrial entities of the Peoples Republic of China while reporting to the National Security Agency. In 6 years and 8 months of active duty military service, Dosemagen was decorated with the Air Force Achievement Medal (J-2 Intelligence Division, Republic of Korea), the Air Force Commendation Medal (Electronic Security Command, PACAF), and the Joint Service Achievement Medal (National Security Agency). After completing full-time government service in 1987, Dosemagen instructed Chinese Mandarin in the Kenosha Unified School District, before joining the professional service of the Boy Scouts of America where he worked for 11 years, increasing youth membership, recruiting volunteers and fundraising, finishing as Director of Field Service with the Northeast Illinois Council, based in Highland Park, Illinois. His service area extended from the northern suburbs of Chicago to southeastern Wisconsin, and he served over 18,000 youngsters and 4,000 adult volunteers in 375 local Scout groups. Dosemagen then served as La Leche League International’s Director of Operations, and then as Director of Marketing and Funding for the American IEF Education Foundation, traveling extensively throughout East Asia, bridging the gap between U.S. educational opportunities and students from China, Taiwan and Korea. IEF has offices in Taipei, Taiwan, Washington, D.C. and Shanghai, China. He then served as a consultant to Central Michigan University’s innovative College of Distance and Distributed Learning, continuing his consultancy with the Bright China Management Institute in Beijing, introducing the Dr. Peter F. Drucker E-MBA, and other Drucker teachings to the Chinese people. As Executive Director of ABC Child Development, Inc., an El Monte, California based youth-serving human service agency, Dosemagen led a staff of 250 with a budget of $14,000,000, in efforts to increase Project Head Start outreach to the Mexican-American and Asian-American first and second generation immigrant communities of eastern Los-Angeles County. Presently, Dosemagen serves as Director of Academic Affairs with the University of Phoenix’s Southern Arizona Campus, instructing coursework in 48 disciplines spanning the Graduate School of Business and Management, the Undergraduate School of Business and Management, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He also serves on the Faculty of Western International University, teaching leadership. In addition to his B.A. in East-Asian Studies from the University of Maryland, Dosemagen holds a Masters in Human Services from Murray State University, and received his Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Fluent in the Chinese language, conversational in Korean, an Eagle Scout, long time Rotarian (Paul Harris Fellow) and American Legionnaire (California Division), Dosemagen is also a Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow, which named him, in the language of the Delaware Indian, Aptonen-unk Chweli-wilano, which means He Who Speaks In Many Tongues, He was honored by the American Inn of Court of Northern Illinois with its Distinguished Service Award, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Tucson, Arizona, USA Boy Scout Council, volunteering on behalf of charitable organizations in numerous capacities, to include the Reading Seed youth literacy program, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Bright China Foundation. In the spring of 2002, Dosemagen lectured to Chinese educational community consumers in Shanghai and Nanjing, on policy changes in United States immigration procedures and post secondary educational administration, as a result of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. In the fall of 2004, he lectured in Beijing on transformational leadership, change, and organizational culture. Dr. Dosemagen has authored five books: Prodigies – A Warring Species and the Human Heart, (1st Books, 2003), The Impossible, (AuthorHouse, 2004), The Trigger, a spy-thriller set in East Asia in the year 2010, (AuthorHouse, 2006), Rediscovering the American Dream (AuthorHouse, 2007), with Human Engineering, (AuthorHouse, 2008) being his most recent work.
