About the Book
Statistics indicate that one in every three females and one in every five males are sexually abused by the time they reach eighteen years of age. Live to Tell is a collection of poetry chronicling the journey from being a sexual abuse victim to becoming a survivor. The road to emotional health can be arduous and painful. Consequently, it can also be lonely. The poems in this book are meant to provide hope and encourage survivors of sexual abuse to continue on their path of healing.
About the Author
Christiana Tercero, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In addition to her work with children, adolescents and their families, Christiana has a passion for writing poetry and educating others about sexual abuse and its effects. Christiana currently lives in Southern California with her husband.
