About the Author

Dianna Wilhelm lives in Elk Grove, California.  Being a special-needs enthusiast, she runs successful peer groups from her home, for typical children as well as children with varying disabilities and developmental delays.  Her goal is to provide an appropriate learning environment that fosters social and emotional development, as well as academic and motor skills.  Applied behavioral analysis is the baseline of all practices, but each child has individualized goals.  Her two children, Dillon and Amy, are active participants in the family business.  Their leadership has an enormous impact. Helping families overcome life-changing hardships is what makes Dianna happiest, and she wants to devote the rest of her life to this cause.
