DESTINY IS AT THE DOOR
I heard a knock at the door last night
As I sat on the couch watching the fight
When I opened the door I was very surprised
I could not believe what I saw with my very own eyes
It was someone I had met in my dreams
And he told me that I could have anything
I was told by this man that God had favor on me
That there was no limit to where God would take me
He told me that I could have anything if I obey and believe
That God would grant me all of my hopes and dreams
I was told that I was to preach God's Word
And that millions would be touched from what they heard
I was amazed as this man continued to talk to me
He said in years I will be shocked at where I will be
He told me that I would travel and explore the world
And whatever I asked for that God would give me more
He told me to endure because my struggles were a stepping stone
To elevate me higher and to make me strong
So while you sit and wonder if there is more
Listen for a knock, Destiny is at the door

He is a member of the Academy of American Poets and a graduate of Glad Tidings Bible College in St. Louis, MO and holds a degree in Biblical Studies. He is currently pursuing his goal to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he continues to add to his accolades to be titled "The World's Greatest Poet."
