Turalus Part 1

    "Well I'll be," Martin said with a smile. "It's been a while, Mike."
    Michael nodded in agreement. "Indeed. I've been okay, but I'm sorry about last time. What I did was entirely out of line."
    Martin nodded. "It happened to all of us at one point or another, no worries. I figured you might want this back, though." Martin reached into his pocket and handed Michael the change he told him to keep last time.
    Michael laughed. "No, no, you keep it. I'm not just here because I owed you an apology."
    "Ah," Martin smiled. "The usual?"
    "Please," Michael said with a smile.
    "Coming up. Oh, before I get you that dose, how come that girl you were talking to left all the sudden?"
    Michael's smile faded slightly. "I'm not sure," he responded lowly.
    Martin nodded and turned to get Michael's dose.
    As Martin prepared it, Michael looked at the bottles again, moving his head to his left, then to the right to observe the small manifestation they provided. He blinked a few times, thinking to himself as he looked on. "Maybe she is thinking of me too..." Soon after, Martin placed his dose of Yukon in front of him.
    "There you go, Mike. Let me know if you need anything else."
    "Thank you, and I will."
    Michael watched as Martin went to go back to doing what he was beforehand in the back room. Once he left, Michael let out a soft sigh, and picked up the dosage glass. He tipped it in a circular motion to watch the liquid move, and then took a small sip, rather than downing it all at once. He took a breath of cool air as the smooth warmth moved down his chest, then subsided as he set the glass back down onto the counter. Michael then crossed his arms and eyed the small light show once again. For a minute, it seemed to move on its own, providing a beautiful sight that made Michael smile.
    This scene was soon put to a stop when Michael felt a small vibration where he sat. he looked around him, but nobody else seemed to have noticed. He turned to face the bottles again, but blinked after he saw them shudder, and he felt another vibration. Still, there was no response from the other citizens. Michael then looked down at his dose, and focused, waiting to spot a reaction. There was nothing. Then he saw the liquid ripple with a slightly stronger vibration. Michael looked outside the bar, and this time other citizens were looking around in speculation. He got up and put his jacket on swiftly, then heard Martin step out from the back room again.
    "Mike, did you feel that?"
    "Yeah I did." he responded quickly.
    "What the hell is that?"
    "I don't know...I'll be back..."
