Introduction:
Cover girls, yes, that’s who we are. Yes, I said we. Everybody knows one or is one themselves. Cover girls have been around since the beginning of time. Did you know that even Eve, the mother of creation, was a cover girl? Oh yeah, you know the story about the forbidden fruit thing. When God told Adam not to eat and Adam told God the reason he disobeyed was, “That woman you gave me, told me to eat!” Eve then had to cover for her man Adam, to God. Yes, the real cover girl originated in the Bible a long, long, time ago. Then, not long after Eve, Sarah covered as Abraham’s sister to spare his life. Rebecca did the same to cover Isaac (like father, like son) and later she covered her son Jacob for the birthright. And, the cover girl list goes on…Esther, Deborah, Rizpah, and Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary allowed the Holy Ghost to overshadow her. Overshadowing is a covering too. Then, she became the covering for our Messiah! These are just a few Cover Girls in the Church!
To better understand what a cover does, we have to start in the dictionary. It means to cover from attack, to hide from sight or knowledge, to spread over, to appear one way on the surface, to invest a large amount of something, to have sufficient stock of something, to deal with or treat something, to handle or care for one’s territory, to pass over, to defray a cost, to pay a debt or place yourself as the ransom, to conceal something illicit, blameworthy or embarrassing or to be a substitute or replacement.
Now, don’t see all of this cover girl stuff as a bad thing because, as you read this book, you will learn not all cover girls are bad. As a matter of fact, the greatest cover girl of all will turn out to be the Church. God called the Church a woman, and the Church is the ultimate cover girl for all men.
When Christ died and covered all of our sins, His sacrifice, interception, and decision to hide and eliminate all sin was the greatest cover-up job of all. And then He gave the responsibility to cover God’s people to the church. He is coming back for His bride. He’s coming for His beautiful Cover Girl!
Brothers don’t be fooled by the title; you need to read this too. You need to get some insight on the cover girl mentality as well and it’s usually the men the cover girls are tripping over anyway. Plus, there are a few stories in here that involve David and some cover-up lessons he learned too. So get ready; the cover girls are about to be revealed in the church!

I pray it will open up some graves that contain promises and dreams that have been assassinated by the spirit of abuse. I pray it will speak to the dead, dry bones and declare that you shall live and not die due to being buried alive by a cover up. I refuse to let you be buried under any dirt!
