Why would the United States of America, which has existed for less than 300 years, presume to tell Iraq and other middle eastern countries whose cultures are many thousands of years older than ours, that they should abandon their culture and method of governing and accept ours instead? Have we actually created the terrorism monster that we are now fighting? Is George W. Bush the last President the United States will ever have? Has our genetic modification of plants removed their natural immune defenses, thereby allowing E.coli and other deadly diseases to enter our food chain? Is our policy of allowing unrestrained abortions the reason we do not have a military of sufficient size to defend us, and the reason why we have a labor force that must depend on illegal immigrants to do our construction and other work? Are we killing our nation by our reckless disregard for moral strictures in our entertainment models? Is homosexuality destroying our nation as it destroyed other civilizations before us? Are our religious traditions inadequate to effect positive change within us? Could they all be fallacious? Is our economy a house of cards that the winds of change are about to blow apart? Are we living in a matrix-like, make-believe, fantasy world that only appears to be real to us? What lies ahead for us, both in our immediate and long range future? These and many other subjects are discussed in this timely expose¢ of who we are, where we are, where we are going and why. It is a somber plea for reason amid the clamor of extremism in these turbulent times; a must-read for anyone currently experiencing uncertainty about our nation’s declining condition or who feels apprehensive about the path we as a nation are taking. The Author suggests that we have been tricked into believing false premises about everything from our religious beliefs, to how we are governed. He implies that our social proprieties as well as our economic structures and practices have all been colored by a systematic pattern of misleading, sometimes totally fraudulent information which we have always accepted as truth. From deceptive theories about our beginnings, to ridiculous delusions about the afterlife, we have all been victimized by the misleading teachings of those we trusted to lead us. We are, the Author relates, at the end of a six-thousand year decline in virtually everything in our world. While we have been taught to believe we are progressing and becoming more enlightened with the passing of time, the exact opposite is true. We are ushering in our own demise and our modern day Babylonish system is falling apart as we are about to go down for the count. The collective accumulation of our erroneous assumptions and convictions regarding everything…is now bringing our house down upon us. Remarkably however, after our fall, when the dust has finally settled an incredible future awaits us….a future that most people have never been made aware of.

Most of us today have reservations about the direction our country is taking. We are beginning to question the wisdom of our leaders, both in Congress and in the White House. Recent polls indicate that our President has a 30% approval rating (or less) while the ratings are even lower for the Congress. Most of us regret that our military ever entered Iraq, as we witness the mess we have made there and the missing "back door" for getting out. Meanwhile things are becoming more uncertain here at home as we see increasing fuel costs and declining home values. Inflation, which is scarcely ever mentioned by our politicians, is steadily eating away at our exposed underbelly. Our decayed infrastructure is crumbling while our tax dollars needed to repair it are being thrown away in the Middle East.Crime here at home is growing increasingly more violent, as is the entertainment we relish. Our national pastime has become unrestrained lust with the accompanying result of uncontrollable sexually transmitted diseases. The current presidential field has produced another round of guaranteed "same old failed policies," with not a hope of correcting what is wrong with our country. The system is what is wrong. The Author asks, "Why don't we try following the instruction manual for a change?" The answers to our problems have been with us all along...but nobody would believe our Creator's words. Very soon now, everyone will be ready to listen as the winds of nuclear war are unleashed and global devastation overtakes us. The Author invites you to see the future that awaits us, as faithfully recorded in the Holy Scriptures. It is far different than most of us have been led to believe.

Sixty-two year old, former Advertising Executive, Businessman, Teacher and student of the Bible, James Arthur; began his quest for theTruth in 1983 when the collapse of the petroleum industry devastated his oilfield centered advertising business.
