About the Author

Marlene Mansour Sabeh is a native of Lebanon. She moved to America in 1995, joining her husband, a longtime resident of Fall River, Massachusetts. She was always passionate about writing, especially writing for youngsters. Along with a degree in Computer Sciences, she earned a diploma in writing for Children’s magazines from the institute of children’s literature in Connecticut.

Author of "A Little odd", Sabeh tackles in this book the story of a teen-age girl and her painful journey to find her sister and mother. Ever since Hope Lord was put in foster care because of her mother’s drug addiction, her hardships started and she had to hit rock bottom before bringing herself to the surface again and tell the whole world she CAN do it.
