Pippi, a household cat doesn’t realize she is overweight.  One day she discovers this fact.  As a result, she decides to diet and exercise in order to shed the extra pounds.  Will she succeed at this task?  No matter the outcome, Pippi’s view of her situation is one we all should consider. 

About the Author

Vickie Allen, a retired elementary school teacher, lives with her husband and their three cats in rural Kentucky.  Being a lover of animals, she has always had pets.  But her most preferred pet of all is a cat.  Living with cats inspired her to write stories about these animals whose sense of adventure knows no limits.  As a first time published author, Vickie is excited to share with you this fictional story about her beloved family of cats.
