About the Book

This story gives a history of one of the greatest things that has happened in the past century.  God taught Israel by His testimonies. They were then reminded of His love in all of His miracles. He told them to tell their children of the things He had done.  This was proof that He would do the same for them.

Testimonies are more valuable, at times, than a sermon. And so as the LORD said in;

Psalms 78:5 - For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

Psalms 78:6 - That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

It is also written in;

Psalms 19:7 - The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

This testimony is a reflection of how God has worked in the past and what He will accomplish in these last days.

This book was written with the intent of inspiring our hopes and give us a new zeal to serve the LORD and work for Him more fervently than we ever have before.

Sincerely,

William Wallender

About the Author

I have been greatly blessed to have been reared a Christian home. I am a fourth generation in the Pentecostal movement. My mother, grandmother, grandfather and great grandmother all received the Holy Spirit. My Grandfather was a Pentecostal minister in the Assembly of God.

I received the Holy Spirit in a mission where Brother Watson was ministering in East Oakland, California, at the age of 17, in 1939. With love and care, I have watched the Pentecostal people all these years, and have weighed each move they have made in the past 100 years. By comparing the move of today, with what the first church in the book of Acts did, I found we are lacking. I have worn out seven Cambridge Bibles, and with an open heart, have wondered what God is doing, and how it will all end up (for I want to be included in what God is doing).

My wife Margaret, and I have worked fervently in the work of the Lord since we were married in 1955. She has composed many songs and is the church Pianist.

I had no idea that I would ever write a book, but my inspiration and much prayer before God, led me to write this book, and to share with you what I have heard from all my mentors, and have gleaned in my studies.

As you read this book, may God bless you, and encourage you with a bright future that I see ahead for God’s people.
