When it comes to doing services for the Lord, you should be excited.  It is a matter of sacrifice.  God loves cheerful giving of time, service, and money.  When you make time by investing in God’s plan, it becomes the pinnacle of honoring Him.  It is the same spirit you saw in our Lord, Christ Jesus.  Christ Jesus was constantly reminded to do according to what the Lord requires of Him. You should have no other reasons but to do the same by investing time in others with Christ-like spirit.  Yes, Christ Jesus had a spirit of joy, peace, and love.  He gave freely of His self to others. 

Another reason why sincere sacrificial giving is required is because it is also required by the Lord.  The lord wants you to invest in Him.   If you make the sacrifice by giving your best to the Lord, He will do the same for you.  His word states He will bless His people.  Services are some of the ways to show you love the Lord.  Doing for God is doing for you.  God will surely bless you.

God chooses to serve mankind.  God did not hesitate to offer up Christ Jesus as His redeeming sacrifice for humanity’s sins.  For God to give up His only Begotten Son, He had to love us unconditionally.  Nobody loves going through pain unless they love the objective of bringing about changes for the good of mankind.  That is what God did for us.  Let us be reminded to do this very same act.

It is God’s mercy when Christ went through the crucifixion.  Christ’s death became the mantle on which we are saved from damnation.  Christ’s pain and agony pleased God because we have been the beneficiary of God’s love.  Therefore, when you serve, you should be reminded it is for the Lord and Him only.
