About the Author

Dr. M.S. Umoru is a qualified Banker and Accountant, and a product of Harvard University Boston. He has written a number of books on Management including “The Supervisor’s Manual” (1972),  “The Managers Guide” (1988), “A History of Ayuele” (1991), “So that Tomorrow will be better” (1995), A Co-author of a book titled “Management of the Nigerian Economy under Democratic Administration” (2000), “Effective Management Skills” (2001), Management Concept and Case Studies (2002), “Effective Resources Management” (2003) and “Sorrows of a Nation” (2005).

He was chosen by Biographical Association Cambridge, England as one of the 2000 fascinating Intellectuals of the 21^st Century in the year 2002.

He is an Industrialist of International Reputation and has received numerous merit awards for significant contribution to Industrial Development and Management Education in Nigeria including: Gold Mercury of Africa Award for distinguish contribution to Africa Economic development and “Voice of Africa International Award” for distinguished contribution for Economic Development of Africa.
